Job Description:

  • Report and analyze the incidents
  • Act as an internally facing point of contact to escalate technical issues and communicate network status
  • Act as an externally facing point of contact to facilitate handling of fault and problem reports and maintain relations with network peers and vendors.                           
  • Monitor network stability and performance, ensuring 24x7 operations and resolving service impacts as they occur.
  • Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven work experience as a Network Operation Center Specialist or similar role
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG)
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)
  •  Familiarity with communication protocols (TCP/IP) and routing protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS)
  •  In-depth knowledge of network protocols (Network+)
  • Familiarity with windows server operating system
  •  Familiarity with connecting links
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP or CCIE Security NSE4, CEH) are highly desirable
